Using your influencing and relationship-building skills, you provide Google-caliber client service, research and market analysis. You anticipate how decisions are made, persistently explore and uncover the business needs of Google’s key clients and understand how our range of product offerings can grow their business. Working with them, you set the vision and the strategy for how their advertising can reach thousands of users.

The gTech Ads Scaled Services (known as S2) provides scaled expertise across all Google ads products for customers and partners. Outsourcing and automation are core to achieving scale for workflows that the team handles. These are backed by robust quality systems and data insights to drive strong business results. Being a global team, both internal and external stakeholder management and cross team collaboration are crucial to the team’s success.

You will be a talented leader for its Data Insights team which is chartered to deliver actionable business insights in a manner that enables timely decision making. As a leader of this team, you’ll help design and develop data systems, real-time operational dashboards and structured analyses. You’ll also have the opportunity to help transform the organization into a predictive and preemptive environment by working on forecasting and proactive alert management solutions. Being a part of the global team, you will partner closely with other cross-functional and data analytics teams to drive holistic solutions. Responsibilities

Lead a group of talented team members who will be empowered to challenge the status quo
Lead a team of data analysts to design, develop and support data warehouses, dashboards and reporting solutions that meet the business needs
Build innovative solutions that help the group with better predictive forecasting models and preemptive alert management systems
Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders across Product, Operations and Tools teams to build robust and broadly-compatible solutions
Maintain the needed data and development standards, documentation of all efforts in a way that enables easy track-ability and maintenance

Minimum qualifications

BA/BS degree in Engineering or Statistics or equivalent practical experience
8 years of experience in the field of data analytics with 3 years of people management experience working with teams in a global environment.
Experience with SQL and/or other data management systems

Preferred qualifications

Experience with Data Warehousing procedures, Extract, Transform and Load scripts (ETLs) that operate on a variety of structured and unstructured sources
Advanced data modeling and analytics expertise, experience in numerical analysis and/or data/text mining methods, working experience on SAS, R, etc.
Excellent change management and stakeholder engagement skills
Proven ability to work proactively and collaboratively with cross-geo, cross-functional colleagues
Excellent communication skills and high level of comfort, working on open-ended problems and designing and implementing solutions
